Our Vision
Tamluk — a city steeped in centuries of history, a living testament to Bengal's glory — deserves its place in the global spotlight. Under the visionary patronage of Mr. Gouranga Quila, owner of Saluk and Jonaki, we are proud to announce our mission: to transform this great historic city into an international platform for sporting excellence and creative achievement.
School and college students are the future international figures of this nation. Our aim is clear and singular — to see the young talent of Tamluk standing proudly on the international podium, representing India and Bengal before the world.
Precision shooting training under the guidance of experienced coaches, using world-class TACHUS electronic scoring systems — the same technology used at Olympic venues worldwide.
Tamluk's historical legacy gives our youth a unique identity. We channel that pride into athletic excellence — building champions who carry the name of this great city to every corner of the world.
School and college students form the heart of our academy. We identify potential early, nurture it with discipline, and guide each student toward national and international competition.
Sport alone does not build great human beings. Art, music, creativity and culture are woven into our fabric — because a champion must be complete in mind, body, and spirit.

One of Bengal's most celebrated contemporary artists, Shri Chandan Baitalik is a distinguished alumnus of the Government College of Art & Craft, Kolkata — Bengal's premier art institution. A recipient of the prestigious Governor's Award, his mastery of visual art, his creative philosophy and his commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists make him an incomparable mentor. Under his guidance, our students will not just draw and paint — they will learn to see the world with the eyes of a true artist.
A city that gave the world Tamralipta — one of ancient India's greatest ports — is more than capable of giving the world Olympic champions and celebrated artists. The youth of Tamluk carry history in their blood. We are here to remind them of that extraordinary inheritance.

The Champion's Edge
Competitive shooting is, at its very core, a mental sport. The moment a shooter raises the pistol, the entire world falls away. Heart rate slows. Breathing becomes controlled. External noise becomes irrelevant. In that instant, the shooter exists in a state of complete, undivided focus.
These are precisely the mental skills that lead to excellence in academics, in examinations, and in professional life. The student who learns to hold a 10-ring shot under pressure learns also how to hold focus during a three-hour examination, how to remain calm under the stress of competitive interviews, and how to think clearly when decisions matter most.
Research confirms what coaches have always known: shooting sport training measurably improves concentration, attention span and emotional regulation in young people. A student who trains on the range twice a week brings a demonstrably sharper mind to the classroom. At Tamluk Sports Shooting Training Institute, we do not separate the sportsperson from the student — we understand they are one and the same.
The breath control techniques, the mental visualisation, the ability to eliminate distraction — every skill learned on the range transfers directly into study, into work, and into life.
